Job Title: FIRE FIT Ashmore, Station Manager
Reporting to: FIRE FIT Station Owner

We’re new to the Gold Coast and we’ve taken the fundamentals and cranked it up. FIRE FIT is a boutique fitness centre that includes high-voltage, high-energy, high-intensity classes that are here to challenge, push and light up its members. Classes include – Lift, HIIT, Ride and more. Think fitness meets nightclub!

As the Station Manager at FIRE FIT Ashmore, you will be required to lead the Ashmore team. You are directly responsible for managing all areas of the FIRE Station and its staff.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time position, starting in March
Main duties/responsibilities will include:
Driving sales through local community and corporate outreach
Innovation and strategic marketing to drive membership growth
Membership sales & revenue targets
Help with casual leasing – pre-opening
Run a minimum of 18 classes per week
Recruitment
Programs and staff timetables/classes
Maintaining gym standards (cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S etc)
Club administration including reporting
Social media, advertising and marketing
Lead, motivate and manage all team members in line with the FIRE leadership philosophy, performance map and game plan
Attend operational meetings/training from time to time and as requested by the Staton owner
Prepare and present monthly reports as required
Manage & control costs in line with budgets

About You

To be considered, it is essential you have experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a boutique fitness centre, plus a proven track record in growing and driving sales. This role will enable you to take the step up you are looking for, practice an ownership mindset daily and be rewarded for your efforts. You will have the following:

Experience as a fitness instructor
Health and fitness sales and marketing experience
The ability to run functional and spin classes would be an advantage
Happy, positive, fun and outgoing personality
Strong leadership skills
Proven sales track record
Own car and open licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
Minimum Certificate III & IV in Fitness (to be able to perform inductions and provide fitness advice)
Current Senior First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).
Must have appropriate police/working with children check.
