Located only 5kms west of the Brisbane CBD, Jetts Taringa caters to a wide demographic membership base and draws members from the high density areas of Toowong, St Lucia, Taringa and Indooroopilly.  We have been helping our members for over 12 years with our state of the art equipment, regular bootcamps, 6 Week Challenges, small group fitness classes and outstanding 1-on-1 Personal Training.  One of our much-loved Trainers is moving on, making this the perfect opportunity to join the team.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Personal Trainer who loves to train clients as their primary passion, but is keen to work as our Assistant Manager 8 hours a week (4 hours on Thursday and a 4 hour shift on Saturday mornings).

You will also run 2-3 group training classes each week (eg Boxing, Tabata, HIIT, Circut etc) which will be paid in addition to your Assistant Manager shifts. This is great exposure to build your own PT client base and aimed to maximise the number of members getting to experience your training style.

ABOUT YOU
We want Trainers who are team players and who are curious about the responsibility of running their own club one day. People who DREAM BIG!  Personal Training should be your main priority, but perform well in this position and it could be a stepping stone into a future management role within the club or the Jetts network nationwide. Ideally you will live within 10km of Taringa and have your own transport.  You must have your Cert III and IV in Fitness, First Aid and CPR qualifications.  But ultimately it will be your personality, love of the gym and committed work ethic that will ensure your success in the role.
